Wiper seals

Wiper seals are seals that act as a protective barrier against foreign objects during piston rod retraction.

Wiper seals are rings with a pointed, outwardly or inwardly directed scraping edge that keeps dust, lubricants, or moisture away from retracting piston rods. In doing so, they ensure that the oil pressure in the cylinder is maintained. This protects the internal sealing elements and extends the service life of the entire system.
