Grooved rings

Grooved rings are classic lip seals for single-acting systems.

Grooved-rings are sealing elements with a U- or V-shaped profile. Precisely cut sealing lips allow for minimal contact points between the sealing interfaces, thus minimizing friction. Grooved rings are primarily used as piston or rod seals in cylinders, where they ensure a reliable seal against oil or air. They are also frequently used in the food and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in drinking water high-coupling fittings.
